Our Employment based service is fundamental to everything we do at Stride Yorkshire. We empower neurodivergent individuals with the support they need to build careers they love — helping them gain confidence, feel valued, and take pride in their contribution to society. This service is grounded in years of experience through not only Logan, but other members of the team. We know what type of support works, and what doesn’t, to give you the best possible chances of success with either a new or current work venture.

While our career and employment support services are delivered across a wide area, we also provide location-specific support for individuals and employers in key areas.

Please note, if you need help finding a job we can help, our Employer Engagement Officers will arrange a consultation to find out more about what your work requirements / needs are, and we will then put a plan in place to help you on your journey. If you don’t feel you have the confidence or skills to gain employment yet, please refer to our Independence Coaching service.

I’ve been coming to Stride for the past couple of months and have been in the care of Logan. I’m autistic and since I left school, I’ve been lost, I don’t know what I want to do with myself, job wise and career wise, I failed in college I’ve been suffering with mental health including intrusive and obsessive thoughts brought upon by pure O, along with anxiety and depression and I didn’t have any friends after being rejected and bullied by peers time and time again. It’s been a struggle, but since I’ve been having my meetings with Logan weekly, he’s really helped me, I’m already seeing a difference, he is someone I can talk to about my mental health and help me in my recovery journey, he’s helping me come up with ideas for what kind of job I’d like and he’s introduced me to people I have common ground with and have developed friendships with. We’ve done a lot in a short time and we’ve only just begun, I feel like I’ve got a long way to go in my mental health recovery journey yet, but if anyone’s gonna get me there, it’s Logan. Adam

Strides approach to coaching is goal driven, utilising a non-judgemental, specialist approach to support that encapsulates years of tried and tested experience.

ALTERNATIVE PROVISION

Stride will soon be setting up an alternative provision, to assist Neurodivergent individuals (16-25) when other education isn’t the right fit.

NEURODIVERSITY TRAINING

Designed for workplaces who want to break down the walls to a whole new talent pool of people that think differently, or get the most out of their existing neurodivergent staff members.

CONSULTANCY

We believe in taking the time to get to know an individuals full situation, what makes them the person that they are, both currently and historically. Only then can we truly help.
